Symptoms: MIL lamp stays illuminated after startup; scanner reads throttle position circuit malfunction codes P0120, P0122 or P0123. Causes: Loose, oxidized or water-damaged sensor wiring plug; worn internal sensor resistor or open circuit; short circuit of harness wires. Solutions: Disconnect battery negative, unplug the connector and clean pin corrosion with contact cleaner. Test signal voltage with a multimeter; replace 35170-22600 if signal output is abnormal.
