Design & Performance Characteristics of 39300-2F000 Cam Sensor

OEM-Compatible Structural Design

The sensor follows 1:1 OEM structural dimensions, with mounting hole spacing, 3-pin pin definition, probe length and plug contour aligned with genuine parts. No wiring cutting or ECU recalibration is required after installation, and the unit fits the original cylinder head mounting position.

Magnetic Induction Signal Output

Equipped with a high-permeability magnetic core, the sensor captures exhaust camshaft tooth pulse signals in real time. It transmits cam angle and phase data to the ECU to support diesel fuel injection timing, valve timing and turbo operation logic. The tightly wound copper coil reduces signal attenuation and electromagnetic noise from the engine compartment, lowering risk of signal loss or intermittent misdetection at high engine RPM.

Sealing & Material Protection Design

A built-in high-temperature fluorine rubber O-ring blocks diesel oil mist, dust and coolant from entering internal coil components, reducing risk of short circuit and component burnout in high-heat engine bay environments. The reinforced plastic housing maintains stable mechanical performance under long-term high engine temperatures, with resistance to deformation, cracking and signal drift. The compact short probe design avoids contact with internal engine parts.

Environmental Resistance & Durability Testing

Each sensor completes 3-stage environmental testing before packaging, including thermal cycling, vibration resistance, and signal accuracy validation. Additional tests cover waterproof, dustproof and salt spray corrosion performance. The testing process supports consistent performance across urban, mountain and heavy-load highway driving conditions.

Troubleshooting & Installation Guide for 39300-2F000 Sensor

Difficult Cold Start / No Start Condition

Issue: The vehicle fails to start in cold weather but restarts after warming up; fault codes may not be stored in some cases.

Cause: Degradation of internal electronic components leads to unstable signal output at low temperatures.

Solution: Replace the unit with a new 39300-2F000 sensor. Clean sludge and metal shavings on the mounting hole and cam signal gear before installation. Erase historical fault codes and perform a cold start test after installation.

Random Engine Stall During Operation

Issue: The engine cuts out suddenly during acceleration or cruising, with the tachometer dropping to zero immediately.

Cause: Intermittent signal loss caused by worn sensor probe, loose connector or corroded wiring terminals.

Solution: Inspect the wiring plug for broken pins, oil contamination and loose buckles. Check the sealing ring for oil leakage that may corrode the connector. Install a new sensor if the wiring harness remains intact.

Rough Idle & Sluggish Acceleration

Issue: Unstable idle speed, cylinder misfire, delayed throttle response and increased fuel consumption.

Cause: Weak, distorted or delayed camshaft position signal transmitted to the ECU.

Solution: Scan for fault codes P0340, P0341, P0342 or P0343 to identify sensor malfunction. Remove the sensor and check the probe for scratches or breakage. Fasten the new sensor with a standard torque of 10–11 N·m; avoid over-tightening.

Recurring Fault Code After Replacement

Issue: Fault codes reappear shortly after clearing with a new sensor installed.

Cause: Excessive tightening damages the sensor probe; thread sealant blocks sensor grounding; damaged cam signal gear, cracked or broken wiring harness.

Solution: Reinstall the sensor without sealant or thread locker. Control tightening torque within 10–11 N·m. Inspect the signal gear for missing teeth, cracks and burrs. Repair or replace damaged wiring harnesses.

Customization & Packaging Options for Commercial Procurement

For commercial procurement and bulk orders, the product supports minimum order quantities of 500-1000 units, with custom connector and harness configurations available for specialized vehicle and industrial engine applications. Two packaging options are provided: genuine (MOBIS) standard packaging, and aftermarket packaging including neutral packaging (most widely used) and custom brand packaging.
